Summer Research Fellowship in Pathology
The Summer Research Fellowship in Pathology program offers research opportunities to students who have been formally offered and accepted positions in the first year class of Medical School at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. The fellowship runs for 10 weeks (beginning the last Monday of May or first Monday of June, if it falls on June 1st) prior to students formally entering OUHSC studies. The fellowship offers students a variety of laboratory experiences in anatomic, clinical, or experimental pathology, and is designed to encourage students to consider career paths in pathology and/or research. Participants choose from a variety of projects designed by Department of Pathology faculty mentors. Students will receive a stipend of $4,500, paid in four installments, for their participation in the program. The Summer Research Fellowship in Pathology program is sponsored by the Matilda E. and Clarence W. Bower Memorial Fund and the University of Oklahoma, Department of Pathology.
